How do I book tickets? Tickets can be bought via our "Buy Tickets" link from Thursday 17th January at 9am.
Will I receive a physical ticket(s)? If you book via our "Buy Tickets" link you will receive an online booking confirmation email from our ticket booking agent, Gigantic.
Will there be parking? There is no allocated parking at Abbeydale Picture House. We encourage attendees to park on roads near by or use public transport where possible.
Will I be allocated seating? There will be enough seating for everyone but seating will not be pre-allocated. You may wish to bring blankets with you to reserve your seats. If you are a wheelchair user please let us know in advance by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will you be serving food and drink? Street food vendors will be serving food in the car park area of The Abbeydale Picture House before the screening. There will also be a fully stocked bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks all night. Guests are unable to bring their own food and drink into the event. We will be operating Challenge 25 so please remember to bring photographic identification to buy alcohol if you look or are under 25.
Can I pay by card? Food traders are cash only, but we can take card payments at the bar.
When will the film start? Doors to the event will open at 18:30. Guests will be seated for the film at 20:30. Any guests arriving after 20:30 may not be permitted into the event so please join us early to avoid disappointment.
Is the event indoors? Yes, the screening will take place inside The Abbeydale Picture House. Food concessions will be based outside in the car park area. We recommend that you wrap up warm and bring blankets as the space is not heated.
Is there a minimum age for this event? 10 Things I Hate About You is classified 12. There is a minimum age of 12 for this event. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
What if I book a student or senior ticket? If you are a student, you will need to show valid photographic student identification on arrival. If you are a senior, you will need to show valid I.D. on arrival (passport, driving licence, older person's bus pass).
What should I wear? We advise that you dress warmly and wear sensible shoes. You may also wish to bring blankets to make your experience extra cosy.
What should I bring? Bring your booking confirmation email with you. If you have booked a student or senior ticket, you should also bring suitable identification with you. Please also dress appropriately (see "what should I wear?" above).
Can I smoke at the venue? No, smoking is prohibited during the event. You will need to leave the venue in order to smoke.
What if I am a wheelchair user? The event is accessible for wheelchair users. Please let us know your access needs in advance of the event (by emailing us at email@example.com) so we can make the event as great as possible for you.
I have a carer, can my carer attend the event with me? Yes, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for your carer to have a free seat at the event. You will need to show valid identification (Blue Badge, DID, or equivalent) in order to receive your free carers ticket.
Can I bring a dog/pet with me? we absolutely love dogs but unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs or any other animals at the screening.
Will you refund my ticket purchase? We do not offer refunds on ticket purchases. We are happy for you to transfer your ticket to someone else but you must email us at email@example.com from the email address you used to make your booking to do so. This will enable us to update our guest lists.
Will there be toilet facilities? Yes, there will be toilet facilities at the event.
Can I talk during the screening? We politely ask attendees not to talk during the screening and not to disturb other guests. We reserve the right to remove guests from the screening room who continually disturb others.
