This Galentine’s Day, we're returning to one of Sheffield’s most spectacular locations – The Abbeydale Picture House – to celebrate the love and laughter found within female friendships with a screening of hilariously funny, Bridesmaids.
We will be transforming the former Picture Palace into a cosy winter cinema, complete with beautiful lighting, quirky décor and props, a DJ on the decks, live music, delicious street food and a classic romcom on the big screen, which will leave audiences in fits of hysterical laughter.
Before the film screening, local street food traders will be cooking up a storm in the venue’s car park, alongside live music and a pop-up bar serving themed cocktails, hot boozy drinks, hot chocolates, Prosecco, wines, and local beers. Audience members can also grab a bag of fresh popcorn before snuggling down on retro cinema seats to enjoy the movie.
Timings: Doors to the event open at 18:30, with the film screening at 20:30. The event will finish at approximately 22:45.
