The Village Screen is heading over to their old haunt, the Peak Cavern cave this October for a series of chilling and creepy horrors. Set in the grounds of a natural wonder, the Peak Cavern cave is the perfect setting to get creepy this Halloween!
On Friday 25th October The Village Screen will be transforming the Peak Cavern cave into a poltergeist’s paradise as they screen the terrifying paranormal horror, The Conjuring. Based on a true story, The Conjuring is a truly scary horror that will have cinema goers jumping from their seats within one of the UK’s best show caves!
Ahead of the screening, we'll be transforming an area of the Peak Cavern car park into a street food haven, with food to relish from excellent local street food vendors, plus fantastic music by a live band. The Village Screen bar will also be serving a selection of refreshing drinks, including craft beers, wines, Prosecco, soft drinks, and themed cocktails throughout the evening.
Cinema-goers will be able to grab a box of fresh popcorn before making their way into the cave to watch the film. This is an incredible opportunity to experience a modern supernatural horror inside a natural spooky location!
Adult tickets (16+) are priced at £17.50. Concession tickets (Student/Senior 60+) are priced at £15.50. VIP sofa tickets for two are priced at £70 (includes a sofa in a prime position, plus two blankets). Blanket hire £5 + £5 refundable deposit per blanket. Friday 25th October: The Conjuring – Doors open at 18:30, film at 20:30. This film is rated 15. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The food vendors and entertainment for this event will be located in the Peak Cavern car park, situated just off Buxton Road. There is an approx. 200 metre walk from the car park area up to the cave entrance for the cinema screening.
