Our Story

We are a small team of four event professionals – Claire, Emily, Eamonn and Laura - and between us we have a wealth of experience creatively designing, planning, setting up and managing beautiful weddings and celebration events for private clients, corporate clients and charitable organisations, schools and universities. In particular we excel at transforming blank canvas spaces into truly memorable weddings and events and we have been described as set up “ninjas” because of the range of set ups and transformations we have delivered to date. 

We started the Village Green Events in 2015 with Claire coming from a background in sponsorship and events at the Science Museum in London and Eamonn already heading his own successful corporate events production company, VeryCreative. Emily joined the team in 2017 straight from graduating in Events Management at Manchester Metropolitan University and Laura joined in 2020 after a career change from being a teacher for 12 years.  

We are passionate about planning and delivering weddings and events that exceed what our clients think is possible and we offer a full wedding and event production service, which means we can design and plan your whole wedding or event from scratch, set everything up for you and manage everything on the day. 

Our clients can also cherry pick a service that works best for them and their budget - whether that be our event set up service, on-the-day coordination service or hire service.
